Our Community Serving Theirs Summary

During the last year multiple schools and organizations raised money for Breedlove Foods dedicated to providing desperately needed food for Haiti relief. Each group’s individual efforts made an enormous difference in the lives of thousands of people. Out of that success was birthed the following idea.

What if we could get all of the schools and organizations in West Texas to be a part of one unified fundraiser at the same time, with the proceeds designated to one specific Haitian community? The combined efforts of such a campaign would be phenomenal, effecting change in that community for future generations!

Breedlove has organized the West Texas community to participate in fundraisers throughout the year.

All combined funds raised during these two weeks will be designated toward focused humanitarian aid for one Haitian community with the help of our distributing partners currently serving in the field. Those partners are Operation Hope and New Vision Ministries -Haiti.

Operation Hope is local to Lubbock, and was founded by Dr. John Thomas, a respected surgeon in the community. New Vision Ministries - Haiti is a family consisting of Kerry and Joy Reeves along with their seven children living and serving the the Haitian people on a daily basis. Working closely with Operation Hope and New Vision Ministries - Haiti will enable us to closely monitor the results of the project in Haiti, and report back to the West Texas community as often as needed.

As a unified body of West Texans, we can and will change one Haitian community for the future. We would love the opportunity to have you join the effort.
