It's been six months since a catastrophic earthquake hit Haiti.
LEVELLAND - A Lubbock civic leader, Howard Mercer, was presented Rotary International's prestigious Service Above Self Award during the District 5730 Assembly in Levelland on May 22.
Dehydration is a process where water is removed from a product. Water is removed until microbiological life cannot sustain itself. At that point the product is said to be preserved. If microbiological life cannot exist on the product, then the product may be safely stored for long periods of time.
